Hello,
Please add a config so the self host kutt (hosted on own cloud with own domain) can build extensions. config only need url of self hosted kutt.
@abhijithvijayan commented on GitHub:
@xianx I will work on it soon.
@TheNoim commented on GitHub:
Why is this not just a addon setting? Why so complicated?
@abhijithvijayan commented on GitHub:
@xianx This feature is now successfully implemented. Please test it out when v2.0.2 is updated to stores.
@abhijithvijayan commented on GitHub:
Originally this extension was written for Kutt.it and was aimed to be that way. Since so many users deploy kutt and wanted the extension from the store itself, I thought it could be a developer feature to work with the self hosts.
@abhijithvijayan commented on GitHub:
Works from Release 2.0.2
@TheNoim commented on GitHub:
Thanks, yes.
@abhijithvijayan commented on GitHub:
v2.0.4 includes much more UI changes including this one.
@abhijithvijayan commented on GitHub:
Better ?
@xianx commented on GitHub:
@abhijithvijayan Though I am stated this topic but came back after long time. Great improvements. Thanks.
@TheNoim commented on GitHub:
Yeah, I obviously disagree with this. Why do I need to be a developer to use another host. Just make it a normal option. Maybe just label it as advanced.
@abhijithvijayan commented on GitHub:
This feature will warn users of new permission to access all sites.
@poeti8 commented on GitHub:
Can we prevent this somehow?
@abhijithvijayan commented on GitHub:
@poeti8 Only if we remove the feature in the next release. Also I don't see that much of difference in the weakly users count after the release.
Most of the extensions come with access to all the sites. You could update the description in the stores about the new permission warning.
