With macOS 15.4 and above, we are experiencing #96 and have implemented solution #1; however, we are struggling to find a solid and reliable way to allow the user to set their timezone. We are currently using Jamf Connect with Setup Manager, and while we can set a specific time zone successfully, we deploy Macs globally and this is very problematic since we deploy Macs with users set to standard permissions by default.

Please advise.

Thank you.

From what we can tell the Location Services is a bug in macOS 15.4. Please provide feedback to Apple. Also, please test with the beta of 15.5 which supposedly addresses this issue.

The 15.5 Beta seems to be working from my recent tests.
