We have tried it on several machines now and cannot reproduce.

Hello @hgezim, could you kindly provide an example.
I can attest that transfer.sh isnt modifying the data in any shape or form and would be surprised to see that you get a different file returned.

Can't reproduce at this point. It was a .tar.gz file for what it's worth.

Downloading a file in Firefox gives me a different shasum number as well as a warning from FF:
