we are also seeing this error on most of the .dmg's. Is there a fix for this?

Issues with mounting the dmg are usually security software that is preventing said mounting. Second most often is network security software a proxy that is blocking curl from downloading software and what it is downloading is actually an HTML file with an error message instead. Try running installomator on a Mac without the security software and/or outside of your network to show that this is indeed the problem and then talk with your security/network team to allow this

so it's something on the network?

Have you opened whatever Installomator downloads with a text editor to see if it is a dmg or just an html error message? Can you download from the url with curl directly? (you should be able to get the download URL that Installomator resolves from the log) What does hdiutil report when you mount it manually?

Seriously, what do you expect me to do here? I am not at your computers, I am not in your network, I do not see what you are doing. You did not even share logs. All I can do is share that it is working here. 🤷

You could have included that you tested with security, and vpn disabled and that would have saved me an answer.

I would like to help but "It's broken" is not an actionable report for me.

we did this test, building a mac without defender first, then without crowdstrike and also without zscaler.

Still getting the same mounting dmg issue and looks like we are not the only ones.

these are wfh devices, we are not under any network. so yes, security and vpn are disabled but still failling. Download works fine if you manually open the URL.

I thought the fact that the error is posted in this thread will help you, if not let me know what more info you need.

I cannot recreate the issue at all.

The error above looks like a checksum error. Installomator should not leave disk images mounted after running, so something is going wrong
